Tournament Deals

Contents: Types of Deals, Deal Approval

If a player reaches the final table in a tournament, they are given the right to make tournament deals. By selecting the Deal Making structure, players determine the payout distribution from the prize pool. These agreements are only made at the final table and may involve all players who have reached that stage.

Main Types of Poker Deals

Tournament deals at the poker table. When making a deal, players choose one of the final payout formats. Two types are especially popular among poker players:

Equal – The final prize pool is split equally among all remaining participants. Chip stacks are not taken into account.

ICM (Independent Chip Model) – A widely used method. The system automatically calculates each player’s potential finishing position based on their chip count. This determines the true value of their stack and calculates accurate compensation amounts accordingly.

Accepting or Rejecting a Deal

Only players who remain at the final table of the PokerMatch poker room can accept or reject a deal — regardless of whether they’ve reached the payout zone yet. To begin, players must open the Deal Making section.

Once the players agree to proceed, a special interface appears. The chip leader selects the deal type and terms. If anyone decides to cancel at the last minute, they can click the REJECT button.

To approve the deal, click ACCEPT. The chip leader must also confirm by clicking the same button. Once deal discussions begin, the tournament pauses for up to 30 minutes. Only the final table participants are allowed to take part in this negotiation.

If the discussion exceeds 30 minutes without an agreement, the deal is canceled and regular gameplay resumes.

The chip leader announces the winner. Once a deal is finalized, the terms cannot be changed. The tournament will end without any further hands being played. Use this system to your advantage — and may your next deal be a profitable one! In poker, deals are often a winning decision. Good luck and big wins!
